Influenced by her many travels as a child of Air Force parents, Sonja Denyse developed a love for expressing through entertainment in her youth.
Today, she expresses her talents through FM radio and more. In her career, she has excelled in FM radio achieving number 1 in her day parts along with a nomination for radio personality of the year from the Wichita Professional Broadcasters Association. She also was a morning show co host for KSJM Wichita.
In The Tri-State region she accomplished covering a daypart and half with WWRX, being the only On-Air African-American woman on fm radio in the area, tied 1st place in Neilson ratings, people 13-54, with the local heritage station.
Sonja also has actress credits on “The Patrice O’neal Show Coming Soon”, Fighting, 69 Ain’t just a number and other productions.
Currently, Sonja is displaying her versatility on 96.7 FM The Buzz in Rhode Island an alternative rock station.
Emcee for a city held festival in CT, DJ for Empire Cruises in NY, One of the many DJ's for Joonbug parties on NYE, and Author of series 'Manifest Beauty.'
